ICE London
ICE London is arguably the most well-known and renowned trade show for the online gaming industry, as well as one of the largest. It generally hosts around 35,000 attendees and provides all the networking opportunities within B2B industries you could ask for.
As the exhibition has grown, ICE London has become an international event. Conferences, talks and workshops are equally focused on local innovations and insight, but the added benefit of international experts in attendance can be invaluable.
ICE is an event that can easily be recommended for the general public, as well. So, if you have any friends or family you want to bring, they’ll still have a great time. Best of all, attendance at the exhibition is completely free!
Where and When
ICE is held at the ExCel exhibition centre in London, which is located at the Royal Victoria Dock. It’s an incredibly modern and striking building overlooking the Thames, very close to the heart of London.
You can easily get there on the tube, but on the other hand it’s practically next to the London City Airport. And what could be a better entrance than arriving on your own yacht? One can dream.
ICE London opens each year in early February and continues over three days. For 2020, the dates are 4th-6th February.
What to Expect
Prepare to find more than you were looking for at this giant exhibition. Because the entire area is divided into more easily digestible sections you’ll have no problem finding out where you should go.
There are eleven sectors for 2020: Betting, bingo, casino, esports, lottery, online, mobile, payments, social, sports betting and street.
Exhibitions and multiple events, including an esports tournament, are open to the public, but for the specific sector intelligence (what they call the conferences) you need an ICE Vox pass.
ICE Vox hosts more than 120 experts in all aspects of online gaming, and more generally inspirational keynotes like Usain Bolt(!). While there are many networking events for non-Vox attendees, Vox ticket holders get access to a separate app dedicated to creating new connections for you.
Among the most spectacular features for ICE London 2020, available for everyone:
- The esports arena, where eight CS:GO teams will compete for $250,000.
- Pitch ICE, a dedicated event for start-ups.
- Tribal gaming, which is a free set of talks and networking events to connect you to the North American market.

You only need to pay for a ticket if you want access to the Vox conference and related perks. For the entire program, you can buy a full package for £999 in advance or £1,249 at the door. Individual days are £799.
