SiGMA Affiliate Conference
Through a combination of location, convenience and talent, SiGMA affiliate conference has established itself as one of the most important iGaming conferences in Europe. Not to mention the most important on Malta, the unofficial home of online casinos.
For 2020, SiGMA Malta is expanding dramatically. While it’s still the premier place for local companies to network and learn, this year the conference seeks to bring in more international delegates. As a complement to this expansion, another conference will be held in Manila together with ICE Asia.
What to Expect
The natural focus point of every SiGMA affiliate conference is the exhibition space. If you’re overwhelmed, this is the best place to roam until you get your bearings. Over the large exhibition, you can meet up with acquaintances and colleagues or go on a networking expedition. And don’t forget all the free swag and drinks.
It’s completely possible to spend the entire conference around the exhibition, but you shouldn’t miss out on the conferences, workshops and presentations. This year’s workshops have specific “New Frontier” themes for all the relevant continents. If you’ve decided to head for the Manila conference as well, the Asia workshop is probably a good idea.
Another excellent tip is to take advantage of the crypto and blockchain experts that have come to Malta, as part of a government initiative. There are plenty of talks and discussions on this exciting topic planned for the 2020 conference.
Becoming a Part of the Exhibition
To make your own exhibit at SiGMA, you can choose between several packages that offer different branding opportunities and spaces. For the smallest package (€3,500), a custom made 2x2m wall is all that is provided, while the standard package (€6,000) gives you a 3x3m floor space to exhibit on.
The largest package (€35,000) gives you a 8x6m space and 20 hours of consultancy with the organisers to make the most out of your space. All packages come with passes for delegates, five for the smallest package up to 50 for the largest.
While partitioning walls are provided by SiGMA, the exhibition itself is your canvas to explore. There are a lot of recommended partners available specifically for creating amazing exhibitions, but make sure that you book these well in advance – especially if you’re going for something extravagant.
Branding and Partnering Opportunities
SiGMA offer branding opportunities that extend into the surrounding area of the SiGMA affiliate conference (and even above, with a helicopter). You can buy ad space on everything from the official SiGMA documentary to wrist bands carried by all attendees. A lot of these have already been sold out for 2020 already.
It’s also possible to buy media packages for the different panels and workshops. Your level of involvement can be everything from branding and video spots to chairing entire discussions and choosing subjects. Unfortunately, all of these options are sold out a long time in advance, so you’ll have to plan well ahead of time.
